TINNITUS – Ringing in the Ears

Although I have treated many patients with tinnitus (ringing in the ears), I never found solution that I could write about... until now! Chiropractic, acupuncture and medical treatments do not offer a solution to tinnitus (ringing in the ears).

Recently, I learned about PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy) and a company that was able to focus that energy directly into the ear canal with a special headset. That company is QRS and you can find information about them on the internet.

Treatment Protocol

Thus far tinnitus treatments have been fairly successful, but nothing is 100%. This treatment is very simple, sitting or lying for 60-80 minutes with headsets - very comfortable. Some have experienced reduction in the tinnitus after just one treatment, others need several treatments. Unlike other alternative treatments this is not long term treatment plan. If no results are seen after three or four sessions, then PEMF is not likely to help. Therefore, it's worth trying if tinnitus is affecting your life.
